Chair No.2 was conceived in Port Townsend and is heavily influenced by Kristin’s boat building training. The design has been pared down to essentials and comes in a range of woods including walnut, oak and ash.  Each example features 500 ft of rope in the back and seat (available in two colorways), hand-woven and secured with a sewn leather fastening. The chairs are joined using a mortise and tenon, assembled without screws, and dressed with five layers of finish. There is also a special edition featuring black rope and shou-sugi-ban wood finish.
